He was predeceased by: his parents, John Dietz and Mathilda Dietz (Stahl); his former wife Lorine; and his brother Leo. He is survived by: his wife June; his children, Sherry Diffley (Scott), Les Dietz (Marilyn), Mark Dietz and Corrie Stern (Mike); his grandchildren, Jarrod Diffley, Lauren Henneberry (Derek), Lindsay Tunkin (Scott), Jennifer Houston (Kayle) and Brooklyn Stern; his great grandchildren, Maddox Henneberry and Ronan Tunkin; his sister Bea Bevercombe; and his siblings-in-law, Flo Dietz, Bruce Sanderson (Joan) and Ivor Sanderson (Cathy). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
