She was predeceased by: her husband Antonio M Chaves; her brother Antonio Moura; her brother-in-law Victorino Moreira; her parents, Jose Augusto and Maria Moura; and her nephew Antonio Chaves.

She is survived by: her sister Maria Moreira; and her niece Nelia Moreira (Roger). She is also survived by cousins, and brother and sisters-in-law.
