David Porteous Obituary

It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of David Porteous of Osoyoos, British Columbia, born in Penticton, British Columbia, who passed away on March 4, 2024, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Porteous (Buckmiller); his parents, Hugh Porteous and Winnifred Porteous; his stepmother Aileen Porteous; and his brother John Porteous.

He is survived by: his sister Patricia Rowland; his siblings-in-law, David Buckmiller, Carol Williams and Ruth Cross; his nephew Bruce Porteous; his daughters, Diana Thomas and Joanne Garcia (Dave); his grandchildren, Micheal, Andy (Lisa), Brian (Sarah), Heather, Kimberly (Derek), Corey (Janice), Reece (Luke) and Ricky; and his friend Paul Eisenhut. He is also survived by 9 great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephews.
