He was predeceased by: his parents, William and Grace; and his siblings, Doug, Lloyd, Lorne, Gord, Eunice, Beth and Grace.

He is survived by: his children, Mark (Arlene) and Charissa (John); his grandchildren, Brett (Erika), Emil, Lisa (Shane), Amy (Mark) and Tara (Taylor); and his great grandchildren, Danika, Knight and Freddy. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and their children.
