He was predeceased by: his wife Ethel; his parents, Louis A. Smith and Isabel Smith; and his siblings, Joy Reid, George and Dave.
He is survived by: his family, Jim (Esperanza), Larry (Debbie), Vickie Ohmenzetter (Ken), Jacquie Spencer and Tracey Field (Ian); his grandchildren, Jeremy (Sue), Jamie (John), Cala, Carlie (Robin), Stephanie (Cait), Kelsey (Bill), Mike and Daniel (Reesa); his great grandchildren, Peyton, Blake, Axle and Bode; his siblings, Leone Ninow and Alan; and his sister-in-law Lil Smith. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
