It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Velma Dikur (Oliver, British Columbia), who passed away on January 8, 2025, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, John Sawatzky and Sara Sawatzky; her siblings, Joy, Leona, Leonard and Earl; her former husband Frank Stuart; and her children, Garry Dikur and Vikki Dikur.
She is survived by: her siblings, Lloyd Sawatzky (Sharon), Cliffe Sawatzky (Betty) and Shirley Vizko. She is also survived by 13 grandchildren, 31 great grandchildren, and 3 great-great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Valley Congregational Church (4312 Black Sage Rd, Oliver, BC V0H1T0).
