He was predeceased by: his parents, Steve Zakall and Doreen Downey; his daughter Shelley; and his grandchildren, Sarah and Aidan.
He is survived by: his wife Joanne; his sons, James (Debbie), Kevin (Annette), David (Sonya) and Brian (Simone); his grandson Jerald (Kayla); his children, Meghan (Jeremiah), Shane, Kyle, Brett, Amber (Liam), Treven, Katharyn (Garrett), Talon, Maia, Kessa, Carter, Carson, Kaden and Helena; his great grandchild Evelyn; and his grandchildren, Avacyn, Liam, Beckett, Owen, Calleigh, Noah and Maddox. He is also survived by 5 children, 17 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
