She was predeceased by: her parents, George Monts and Dorothy Monts; her former husband Russ Ellis; her husband Gerald Hay; her brothers, Bill, Jack, Bob and Harley; and her sister-in-law Beatrice.
She is survived by: her friend Barbara Reeves. She is also survived by her loving nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the SPCA, the Royal Canadian Legion Osoyoos Branch or the BC Children's Hospital in her name.
