He was predeceased by: his parents, Peter Hooge and Lena Hooge; his grandson Jimmy Siemens; and his siblings, Helen Pawluk, Abram Hooge and Neta Klassen.

He is survived by: his daughter Linda (Ken Nunweiler); his grandson Mike Kriesel (Nicole); his great grandchildren, Jake, Jessa, Blake and Maya; his granddaughter Jen (Don Ferguson); his great grandchild Ewan; his daughter Rita (Henry Siemens); his grandson Tony Siemens; and his great grandchildren, Devon, Juliette and Logan.

In lieu of flowers, donations would be gratefully accepted for the fight against Alzheimer's.
