Though Joan may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Joan touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wilfred Alaric; and her children, Wilf Alaric Jr. and Tara Miron. She is survived by: her children, Lana Fleming (Kevin), Patrick Alaric, Jennifer Smith, Paul Alaric, Randy Alaric, Bernie Alaric (Gina) and Morgan Alaric. She is also survived by 25 grandchildren and 29 great grandchildren.
A funeral Mass was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Christ the King Cathlic Church (6044 Spartan St, Oliver, BC V0H1T0).
In lieu of flowers, donations in Joan's memory may be made to Sunnybank Retirement Centre, where she completed her remarkable life journey.
