He was predeceased by: his parents, Elmer Tingstad and Sannah Tingstad; his parents-in-law, Bill and Edna Hutchinson; and his siblings, Raymond, Clarence (Gladys), Ernie, Lorne (Doreen), Alex (Audrey) and Irene Hammond (Spud).

He is survived by: his close friend Marilyn; his wife Marilyn; his children, Daryel (Julie Tuton), Marty (Rebecca Macpherson) and Cheryl; his granddaughters, Kristy Armstrong (Mark), Carli, Kyla, Jenna and Abby; his great grandchildren, Halle and Drew; his sisters, Gladys Wishart (Bud), Bernice Foth and Lorraine Tingstad; and his sisters-in-law, Bev Tingstad and Verna Tingstad.

Due to covid, a Celebration of Life to be announced at a later date.
