He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Berard and Marie Berard; and his sister Jaqueline Berard (McGuinness). He is survived by: his son Jason Berard of Summerland, BC; his daughter-in-law Tracey Berard; his grandchildren, Patrick Stein, Johnny Berard and Kaiya Berard; and his siblings, Louie Berard, Paul Berard, Robert Berard and Jeanette Gilchrist (Berard).
