He was predeceased by: his parents, Earle Shay and Margaret Shay; and his siblings, Linda and Steve. He is survived by: his siblings, Barb Rogers (Terje) of Caledonia, NS, Anne Shay Kempton, Carol Shay (Ivan), Ginny Shay Oliver (Richard) and Wes Shay (Jackie) of Kelowna, BC.
