She was predeceased by: her parents, Edgar Pahlke and Elisabeth Pahlke; her former husband Abram Adolf Schmidt (Ado); and her close friend Edmund Richter. She is survived by: her sister Ille Stroebel; her daughters, Monica Kraft of Oliver, B. C. and Ingrid Schmidt of Victoria, B. C.; her grandsons, Kevin (Kendra) and Derek Kraft (Jamie); and her great grandchildren, Kalia, Tavin and Alivia.
