He was predeceased by: his parents, Pauline Ehresman and Jacob Ehresman; his siblings, Andy, John, George, Betty Anne and Margaret; and his daughter Louise (Ken).

He is survived by: his siblings, Jimmy (Margie) and Rose (John); his wife Adeline Ehresman; his children, Lorraine (Michel), Danny and Terry; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Barry), Danielle (Dave), Kristopher, Kathryn (Pierre-Yves), Geoff (Christie) and Cal (Emma); and his great grandchildren, Cliff, Wesley and Aubrey.
