We are sad to announce that on December 12, 2024, at the age of 49, Marta Elluisea Brisco (North Vancouver, British Columbia) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband James; her children, Miles and Erica; her parents, Eric and Bertha; her siblings, David (Kathryn), Beth (Robert), Willie (Christel) and Anna (Shila); her parents-in-law, Roderic and Frances; her sister-in-law Katherine (Sylvain); her nieces and nephews, Evelyn, Fiona, Luke, Alexandre and Simon; and her family Marta.

A funeral Mass was held on Saturday, December 21st 2024 at 10:30 AM at the St. Paul's Catholic Church (424 Esplanade W, North Vancouver, BC V7M1A7).

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to JA British Columbia (jabc.org).

“Marta was so welcoming when our family joined St Edmunds Elementary. Her energy and enthusiasm to get things done drew me in and before long she had me doing all sorts of things for the school! She was the type of leader that made you feel very included and always thanked you for your efforts. She stayed in touch with me when our kids went to different schools and continued to support my small business. I’m so sad I didn’t get a chance to say goodbye. Condolences to family ♥️”
