She was predeceased by: her close friend Thomas "Speedy" Grant; her brother David; and her half-sister Jeanette. She is survived by: her children, Darlene and James (Freda); her grandchildren, Kari, Ariel and Dane; her niece Simone; and her cousins, Hazel and Tom.
