He was predeceased by: his father Joseph; his brother Donald; and his mother Mildred. He is survived by: his wife Elsie; his siblings-in-law, Frank and Mieke; his nieces and nephews, Jason, Greg (Alicia), Kristin (Gerrie), Marja (Ryan) and Lisa (Karl); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Brendon, Nick, Kelsey, Kaiden, Thomas, Emily, Arwen and William; and his close friend Richard.
