“I was shocked and saddened to hear of Joe’s passing on my birthday January 2020. He had become a good friend and he helped me during my move from Vancouver east to care for my parents. We kept in touch and had lots of giggles on the phone. That’s how Joe was. Full of giggles. Positive and funny. I saw his beautiful new car and met his precious dog in the back of the car. “We were so sorry and surprised to hear about papa joe. Such a shame. We so enjoyed his company. I (dave) especially liked golfing with him. We were similar golfers, so we had a bit of a competitive rivalry, but it was always in good fun. I don't think i every saw joe get upset during a round either, even when having a bad round.
