We bid farewell to John Ivan Johnston of North Vancouver, British Columbia, whose journey of life gracefully concluded on February 7, 2025 at the age of 90. John Ivan touched countless lives with warmth and kindness, leaving behind cherished memories that will forever echo in hearts. In the sacred silence of farewell, John Ivan is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that his light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of his loved ones. And as his memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that John Ivan's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John and Letitia; and his brother Brian. He is survived by: his wife Patricia Johnston; his children, Karen Mittendorf (Tyler) and Ken Johnston (Cheryl); and his grandchildren, Connor, Rachel, Ashley and Tessa.
A funeral service will be held on Saturday, March 15th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the St. Christophers Church (1068 Inglewood Ave, West Vancouver, BC V7T1Y3).
