He is survived by: his wife Sheila; his daughters, Bonnie Hunter-James (Mark), Susan Eder, Elizabeth Hunter-Jones (Greg), Sheila Hunter-Tubic (Goran) and Georgina Hunter (Dave Weir); his grandchildren, Clayton, Erik, Lewie, Charlie, Cameron, Ella, Emma and Georgina; his great grandchildren, Nathan and Sydney; his siblings, Mary and Walter; and also George Allan Hunter. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
