She was predeceased by: her husband Charlie; her parents, Abel Rideout and Trixie Rideout; and her siblings, Reginald Rideout, Herbert Rideout and Shirley Rideout.

She is survived by: her children, Jennifer Adams (Michael) and Mark Hilton; her siblings, Sterling Rideout (Pauline), Eric Rideout, Ruby Bird (Gordon) and Frank Rideout (Alice); and her grandchildren, Zachary, Kai, Zoe, Sydney and Taylor. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
