As Shirley departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Shirley may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Shirley leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her husband James (Jake); her brother William; and her sister-in-law Pauline. She is survived by: her daughter Lynda; her siblings, Maria, Ronald and Robert (Carolee); and her close friend Beba. She is also survived by her many nieces and nephews.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 22nd 2025 from 12:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Columbia-Bowell Chapel (219 6th St, New Westminster, BC V3L 3A3).
In lieu of flowers a donation to the food bank or Union Gospel Mission would be appreciated.
