He was predeceased by: his parents, Helena Enns and Jacob Wiens; his wife Catherine; and his grandsons, Brett and Zayne.

He is survived by: his children, Debbie, Diana, Donna and Darrell; and his siblings, Henry and Liz. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren, 6 great-grandchildren.
