He was predeceased by: his father Gabe Brecht; and his daughter Amanda. He is survived by: his mother Louise Brecht; his wife JoAnn Spiers; his sons, Robert James (R. J.), R. J. and Tony (Tony); his siblings, Doug (Gen), Dave (Carrie), Mike (Joan), James (Fern), Bev (Claude), Janice (George), Melody (Bryan) and Heather; and also Marlene. He is also survived by his nieces, nephews, great-nieces, great-nephews and numerous aunts, uncles, and cousins.
