He was predeceased by: his parents, Domenico Porco and Fortunata Porco; his sisters, Elena Maida and Ada Porco; and his brothers-in-law, Leonardo Maida and Salvatore Piro.
He is survived by: his siblings, Immacolata and Gabriele; his nieces and nephews, Jennifer DeLaurentiis, Virginia Muirhead (Peter), Gioconda Gordon (Grant), Tina Viala (Corey), Marcello Piro, Dominic Porco (Karissa), Rick Maida (Tammy) and Fortunata Niminiken (Kyle); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Evelina (Evan), Aimee, Lauren, Michael, Krista, Caitlyn and Gabriel; and also Aurella.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Heart and Stroke Foundation or the Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation.
