He was predeceased by: his parents, Tomo and Ivanka; and his sisters, Maria Herak, Pina Matosevic and Julia Radovcic.
He is survived by: his wife Nevia; his sons, Walter (Prince George) and John (Nelson); his daughters-in-law, Joanna Smythe and Janice Matosevic (Martin); and his children, James, Mieke, Jennifer and Joshua.
