She was loved and cherished by many people including: her children, Dan (Louise), Ann (Herb), Nancy and Bill (Ann); her grandchildren, Kevin (Cathy), Dani Craig (Dane), Hayley (Scott), Jake (Courtney) and Sam (Hayley); her pets, Katie O'Brian and Willy; and her husband Bill.
Margaret held strong political views throughout her life and was a strong advocate and supporter of the NDP, for World Wildlife Foundation and for Parkinsons Canada.
