She was predeceased by: her husband Phil; her sisters, Edith, Irma Grace (Frank), Elsie Cunningham (Ray) and Brother Hanny Hansen (Gwen); and her brother-in-law George Rohatynski.
She is survived by: her sisters, Greta Speerbrecker (Ray) and Jo Rohatynski; her daughter Karen Varney (Dick); her grandson Jim Varney (Darcie); and her great grandchildren, David Anderson (Ola), Quinn Anderson and Jordan. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in Lou's memory to BC Children's Hospital, BC Cancer Agency, Heart & Stroke, Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation, or the charity of your choice.
