She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Hutchinson and Martha Hutchinson; her husband Vern Cox; and her grandchildren, Tracey and Dennis.

She is survived by: her children, Brynley (Sonja), Walter (Robbie), Beverley Caldwell and Carol Him (Cal). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.
