He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel McFadyen and Mary McFadyen (Maisie); and his brothers, Allen (Keith), Allan and Ralph (Leyah).
He is survived by: his wife Leah Hild (Helen); his sons, Cam (Corinne) and Blair; his siblings, Barry (Linda) and Janet (Al); his family, Kamloops, Nakusp and Nelson; and his pet Spanner. He is also survived by 5 grandsons and 6 great grand children.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation.
