It is with great sadness that we announce the death of John Frederick Cherenko Jr. (Nelson, British Columbia), who passed away on June 30, 2018, at the age of 72, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his wife Carrol Lasko of Fort Langley, BC; his mother Henny Cherenko of Nelson, BC; his brothers, Reg Cherenko (Dianne) of Trail, BC and Dennis Cherenko (Marilyn) of Delta, BC; his nieces, Tara and Cindy; and also, Meadows (Jonathan), Shaw (Len), Ron Lasko, Cosette and Nadia.
