Jessie MacKenzie Obituary
We are sad to announce that on July 4, 2021, at the age of 88, Jessie MacKenzie formerly of Nelson, British Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Jessie MacKenzie to pay them a last tribute.
She was loved and cherished by many people including: her grandparents, Jessie and William Byres; her children, Susan Embree (Maynard) of Maple Ridge, Hollie Burrage (Jim) of Nanoose Bay, Carolyn Fortin (Richard) of Surrey and David MacKenzie (Berenice) of Courtenay; her grandchildren, Christopher, Matthew, Johanna, Megan, Joshua, Rebecca, Aidan and Aliyah; her mother Annie "Bill" (Byres); her husband Wayne; her brother Bill Easton; her son-in-law Don Stich; and also, Emily, Patty Davies (Dale), Colleen Nabata (Dan) and Bob Easton (Teresa). She was also cherished by six great-grandchildren; as well numerous nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grand-nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations in Barbara's memory can be made to: World Vision Canada or to First Baptist Church in Nelson, whose Elders faithfully served her communion, as a shut-in.
