She was predeceased by: her parents, Marie Weller and Theodor Weller; her siblings, Otto and Else; and her husband Rolf Benner.
She is survived by: her children, Jutta, Peter (Alyson), Janet (Clinton), Roger (Louise) and Hedi; her grandsons, Karl Benner (Anna) and Erik Benner (Erin); her children, Stella, Claire and Naomi Wiebe (Dean); her grandchildren, Josh, Landon, Everly and Emmett; her daughter Nicole Homell (Kris); her grandchildren, Jaxson and Savannah; her son Reid Benner (Sheridan); her grandchildren, Olive, Rex and Rafe; and her children, Lakeysha O'Neill (Thomas), Keefer O'Neill, Rebecca Benner (Kai) and Digby Benner. She is also survived by Her nine grandchildren, and eleven great-grandchildren, will miss their Oma.
In memory of a woman who valued supporting community and the environment, in lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the North Shore Volunteer Fire Department through the Regional District of Central Kootenay, or to the food bank of your choice.
