She is survived by: her spouse Ivar Melvin Buerge (Mel); her child Gwen; her sister Bernice Jones of Nelson; and her children, Mark (Kerry) of Riverview and Susan (Dean Fair) of Salmo. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and five great grandchildren.
