He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Alexander and Antoinette; his wife Leona McKinnon; his son Lloyd; his brother John; his son Gordon; his cousin Sherrie Parker; his sister Helen; his sibling-in-law Gaius; his niece Darlene; his nephews, Malcolm and Jeff; his sister Phyllis; his nephew Derrick (Karen); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Tracy and Nancy; his nieces and nephews, Tim, Darren, David, Jody, Brent and Monique; his children, Jay, Shara Mae and Jayson (Christie); his grandchildren, Anna Marie and Alex; and also, Ken (Midori) and Colleen Thomson.

Post Covid, he will be interred in the Addie family plot at the Elmwood Cemetery, Sherbrooke, Quebec.
