She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Bridge; her parents, Victor Hurst and Evelyn Hurst; her siblings, Joan Scholz and Victor Hurst (Sonny); and her grandson Derrick Smith.

She is survived by: her children, Leroy, Charles, Stanley, Dean Bridge, Rosemarie Roger (Robert Bett) and Marilyn Bridge (Cory Smith); and her sister-in-law Inez Root. She is also survived by 11 grandchildren, 7 great-grandchildren, many nieces and nephews, cousins.
