It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alan Ramsden (Nelson, British Columbia), who passed away on December 11, 2021, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Wilhelm Ramsden and Rose Ramsden; his sister Rose; his wife Evelyn Houde; his daughter Cheryl; his brother Bill (Rowena); his children, Martin (Bettyanne), Eric (Miriam), Janice Stewart (George) and Douglas (Delphine); his grandchildren, Cadhla, Meaghan, Adam and Zac; and his great grandchild Charlotte. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Kootenay Lake Hospital Foundation, BC Children's Hospital, or Touchstones Museum.
