Caryl Lynn Wylie Obituary
Caryl Lynn Wylie (nee Clark), aged 73, a resident of Nanoose Bay BC died on December 11, 2023 in Victoria, BC. She had been a patient in the Royal Jubilee Hospital for the past month. Born in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, she moved to British Columbia in 1967 where she lived at various places over the years settling in Nanoose Bay to enjoy her retirement. Left to mourn her passing is her husband, Bruce, with whom she had just celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in June. She was predeceased by her parents, Mel and Helen Clark, and brother, Mel Clark Jr and his wife Susan, and is survived by her sisters-in-law Patti Cloutier, Parksville BC; Annette (George's) Groulx, Ottawa Ont; Merilou (Bill), Geraldton Ont; Ellen (Henry) Mocha, Lindsay Ont; and brother-in-law Murray (Joyce) Wylie, Halifax NS as well as numerous nieces and nephews. For the past 24 years, Caryl was a volunteer with the Arrowsmith Community Justice Program in Parksville and was co-chair of the Board of Directors at the time of her death. Her other passions included gardening, stain-glass, puzzles, animals, and researching her family ancestry. She has been cremated. A Celebration of Life will follow at a later date.
