She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Dolling and Geneva Dolling; her sisters, Leona McGeachey and Shirley Willmon; her cousin George Webb; and her daughter Karen Hovestad.
She is survived by: her daughters, Gail van der Leek, Shelley Butcher and Kimberly; her grandchildren, Chris, Melissa, Angela, Sarah, Jennifer, Heather, James, Miles, Kirk, Lori, Susie, Jess, Andrea, Aida and Kiki; her great grandchildren, Jaden, Hasani, Dublin, Hudson, Thomas, Graham, Willa, Geordie, Anthony, Zoe, Blaze and Avery; and her husband Norman Nordstrand.
In later years, she proudly attended every alumni gathering until the pandemic hit.
