It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Stephen Checkwitch (Nanaimo, British Columbia), who passed away on August 23, 2020, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kay Checkwitch and Mac Checkwitch. He is survived by: his children, Cheryl (Dave), Kerry (Anne) and Brent (Joanne); his grandchildren, Elizabeth, Michael, Christopher, Adam and Emily; his great grandchildren, Clara and Archie; and his brothers, Allan (Marge) and Robert (Caroline).
