It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Simon John Groot (Nanaimo, British Columbia), who passed away on October 27, 2019, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his wife Thecla; his parents, Jacobus and Classina; and his siblings, Alice, Agnes, Anna, Jack, Gerry and Tom.
He is survived by: his daughters, Bernice (Chris), Jackie (Mike) and Barb; and his siblings, John, Willy, Ina and Leny.
