With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ruth Lillian (Hart) Walde of Nanaimo, British Columbia, born in Regina, Saskatchewan, who passed away on December 31, 2024 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
In the quiet moments of reflection, amidst the gentle rustle of leaves and the whispered song of the stars, we shall carry Ruth Lillian's memory with us, a guiding light illuminating the path ahead. She was predeceased by: her parents, Harry William Hart and Aganetha Sawatsky Hart (Nettie); her husband Allen; her brothers, Harvey Edward Hart and Kenneth "Bud" Leroy Hart; and her siblings-in-law, Clifford A. Walde, Mary Walde (Enns) and Marjorie Hart (Boyle).
She is survived by: her children, Dale Walde (Lucille Johnsrude), Teresa Walde Tiefenbach (Wayne), Bruce Walde (Sandy Leduc), Kent Walde (Shawna Argue) and Diana Walde (Bob Joncas). She is also survived by 14 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; 7 great-great grandchildren; as well as her many nephews and cousins.
A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, February 1st 2025 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Regina Funeral Home and Cemetery (4001 Victoria Ave, Regina, SK S4T1M8).
