We are sad to announce that on March 27, 2024, at the age of 82, Richard Ray Fujikawa of Nanaimo, British Columbia passed away. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Richard Ray Fujikawa to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Tom Fujikawa and Doris Fujikawa. He is survived by: his wife Kitty; his children, Rae Ann Charalambous (Mike), Chris Fujikawa (Grace), Aaron Fujikawa (Lisa) and Linda Fujikawa (Gus); and his stepchildren, Pippa Coppin and Andrew Coppin. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren.

“Grew up with Ray in Silverdale bc the largest district of Mission bc. An outstanding baseball player and athlete (powerfully built with great speed and strength) in the Mission and Hammond areas and later for Kamloops Selects of interior bc senior baseball fame ( see Internet). A truly outstanding athlete with a pleasant demeanour. Saw him last in Salmon Arrm bc in 1977 wife Jean and wonderful family on a trip to homestead from Ontario. Condolences to his siblings Brenda and Ron and family.”
