He is survived by: his daughter Diana Baker (David); his grandchildren, Brandon Williamson (Sarah) and Taylor Williamson (Kayla); his son Bernd Haertel (Heather); his grandchildren, Patricia Kools (Darren), Christopher Haertel (Mandy), Benjamin, Kate, Sam, Alex, Klara, Nathan, Lydia and Amelia; and his sister Sybille.
