He was predeceased by: his parents, Philip Peter (Flip) and Nellie Peter of Estevan Sask; his brother David Peter; his siblings-in-law, George Parkinson, Floyd Parkinson, Larry Demchuk and Lorraine Parkinson; and his daughter Joan Marcotte.
He is survived by: his former spouse Donnamae Parkinson; his wife Donna; his daughters, Barb Frank Mari Jayne (Randy) and Beverly Lundine (Mike); his son-in-law Lance Marcotte (Karen); his grandchildren, Justin (Mai), Jodie, Andrew (Nicole), Jennifer (Scott), Nicolas (Anika), Jacob (Kiya), Chase (Kayla), Jacie (Nathan), Griffen (Mya) and Payton; his great grandchildren, Tora, Charlotte, Tommy and Jack; his brothers, Rob Peter (Karen) and Glen Peter (Janet); and his siblings-in-law, Shirley Peter, Betty Parkinson, Marlene Demchuk, Bette Bouchard and Alex Bouchard. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and special friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Palliative Care Unit, Regional General Hospital in Nanaimo where he received exceptional end of life care.
