He was predeceased by: his father Pieter; and his brother David. He is survived by: his wife Connie; his mother Nellie (Connie); his sons, Casey (Marjorie) and Philip (Iris); his granddaughter Haileigh Toews; and his siblings, Aren Foster (Moe), Keith (Janet), Michael (Judith) and John.
