He was predeceased by: his parents, Hope MacDougall (Tanner) and James MacDougall. He is survived by: his brothers, Roland of Vancouver, BC, Allan of Glace Bay, NS and Kevin of Red Deer, AB; and his children, Michelle (Edmonton), Dwayne (Ontario), Ryan (Boston) and Nicholas (Nfld).

The family requests donations to the John Howard Society (Nanaimo BC) in lieu of flowers.
