It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Olesia Anna (Babuniak) Gafka (Nanaimo, British Columbia), born in Vegreville, Alberta, who passed away on October 30, 2018, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Valeria Babuniak (Wolynycz) and Hyrnko Babuniak. She is survived by: her husband Leonard Arthur Gafka; her daughters, Valerie (Don), Gail (Hi) and Karen (Richard); her grandchildren, Jenny (Eric), Freedom, Adam, Jacob, Jack and Kate; her great grandchildren, Presley and Vincent; and her nieces and nephews, Rick, Ralph and Hazel Paquette.
