He was predeceased by: his wife Mary; and his brother Ed. He is survived by: his siblings, Dave and Pearl; his children, Robert (Julie), Ruth Thorpe (Ian) and Lynn; his grandchildren, Nik Rosacker (Shelby), Patty Stapleton (Jeremy), Erin and Duncan MacKenzie; his great grandchildren, Sailor and Rowan Stapleton; and his close friend Jeanette Garbutt.
